It's all about the Victim's Experience!
Millions of dollars are spent on behalf
of victims of Domestic Violence and yet many end up
with little more than brochures which are called resources
which point to other resources where more brochures
can be obtained. Collect enough of them and one might
stay warm for a night.
Navigating the system can be a nightmare but there are
real resources out there that are changing peoples lives
for the better. For certain types of victims though,
there's not much out there.
This isn't the canned 'feel good' presentation
that is so typical.
This is a presentation from the Victims' Perspective
and the obstacles which are similarly faced by victims
throughout the United States.
For community organizations, business and industry,
schools, academia and religious groups, you will learn
where the cracks are in 'the system' and where you can
be of real benefit to victims of domestic violence.
